Zimbabwe Jockey Academy

For three years now we have mentored four Zimbabwe Apprentice Jockeys through the Zimbabwe Jockey Academy.  We help with their physical training as well as their mental preparation for races. It is our goal that these young athletes go on to dominate the sport locally or abroad.  For various reasons including economic hardships, The ZJA closed it's doors for the final time at the end of March 2020. O'meara has already transferred to The Durban Academy, and we are hoping to send the boys as soon as possible.

We have recently partnered with StrideFree Racing / Peter Horobin Saddlery who kindly sponsored each apprentice with a lovely race saddle! We have also recently welcomed Alliance Health - Northern Alliance on board as a sponsor of their medical aid! There is still more to do, please keep reading to see how you can help!
